New Gator

I was just wondering if John Deere is coming out with a New HPX. The reason i am asking is because last saturday I went to the dealer to order a new HPX from the factor and he told be that it would not be coming in until January because they are switching over the factor line to a new model. I'm thinking they may add feature to better compete with kubota. But if any one has any more info please respond

But in the meantime they are giving me a used gator to use free of charge until January.

Two years ago, next month, I toured the Deere Horicon plant when the HPX first came out, and it had its own line at that time. If they are switching the line for a new model, then I suspect you will get the new model. But, sounds like you have it ordered already, and you indicate you don't know what the 'new model' specs are. Is that a correct assumption?
Or am I just confused?

I have heard around that the 2006 HPX 4x4 Gators will have better steering, better ride, and a button to push to change to
four wheel drive.

I also have heard that the new ones will have some kind of ROPS. There will also be a poly type canopy for the Gator that will attach to the ROPS.

No were waiting until we get the specs on the new model.

Have you heard how a cab will work with the new ROPS.

I saw a picture at my dealer the other day. The poly canopy
will bolt to the ROPS and you could put a Lexan type
windshield.

I think this is a way that Deere can offer a low price canopy to customers.

If you wish to add the old style hard canopy( the one that is pricey) on the HPX. You take the ROPS that comes form the
factory and trash it to put the pricey canopy on the Gator.
