Yes Supernug, the hoe is further away from the tractor. I posted some close up shots of mine under the title B7500 & Woods 7500 BH. You can see how the subframe is mounted and the ground clearance.

Yes I saw yours. looks good. Looks to me like the BX22 setup is better but I would like a B7500. How do you like yours?

I also own a 7500 but no BH. Will you be using it for pond maintenance? I have a 1 acre pond and it's been a huge help with the up-keep. What did that whole package set you back?

Well, I've only got to use it a little because of wet ground. The tractor seems to have alot of power and everything works good for me. The hoe is great. No issues on power with that puppy. It will lift the rear of the tractor right off the ground with the tractor idling. I did get the self contained hoe with the hyd pump on the pto. Ground clearance is 7.5-8 inches measured on concrete. Have to be a bit careful in the woods with the hoe on. Really can't give you an overall honest opinion yet. It's tough to decide which one to get. I know I lost some sleep over it. Good Luck

I have some questions like you do. I don't have a B7500 but would like to get one. I've been quoted $6100 for the Kubota hoe for it an $5700 for the Woods 7500 hoe.

I intend to do a lot of edging and bank work on the ponds. I got the 3 pt mount Woods hoe. It uses the Kubota frame mounting kit. My dealer really suggested I go that route because of the light duty BH work I explained i waould be doing. I also did not get the the BH pump because the tractor pump has enough boost to run the FEL and you will never you the FEL and BH at the same time. The demand is very close for both attachments. I It is woth the try, if wrong I can add the pump later, but for now I got the Woods 6500 installed for $4500, that knocked off $1000. I thought my dealer, Woodbury Tractor made a lot of sense so I went with his opinion. My whole rig included; reinforced FEL with tooth bar, 4 way valve, one halogen work light, Woods Hoe w/12 " bucket with a hook, delivery and instruction, 50 hour service at my house (I'm 120 miles from the dealer) I pay fluids & filters, $17900, I am happy with the deal but I am exceptionally pleased with the dealers service to date. I never even signed a contract or gave a deposit; i gave the order on the phone and paid Bob Wolff when he came with the machine. A real man of his word!

Yep, that little mule is my New Holland mowing machine. I've had her for six years and no problems. I have a 48" MMM with a rear vaccumn bagging system. Also have a 48" front blade that will now be retired. Great machine.

Mike-Congratulations on your new addition. You're gonna love it. I bought my B7500 last summer and she's worked like a dream ever since.
