George, since you are the first Grand L we've seen in Ontario for a long time I'm curious to hear what your rig set you back... if you don't mind that is. Either a post or a pm. I know other Canucks here would appreciate it as well.

I'm also very interested in your pull type blower. Is this made by Walco here in Ontario in Mennoite country? I have a Walco Meteor 68". Real nice blower. It is the traditional back up kind however.

How much price difference was there between a back up blower and a drive forward one?

congratulation tutro I bet you feel like a ten year old on x-mas eve right now. Nothing like watching that shiny orange machine roll off the trailer into your driveway for the first time. As far as attachments go it depends on what type of work you need to get done but I could not live with out a landscape/rock rake. you might also want to consider a rear blade for snow removal. I think I remember you having a long drive to clear and where asking about snowblowers. I know those snowblowers are pricey, you might find a rear blade will do a good job and save you several thousand dollars as well. I was just thumbing through the land pride catalog and it looks like if you get a rear blade or rake from them you can just buy the other blade/rake part so you dont have to buy the hole thing. I'm not sure how much money it saves doing it that way or how hard it is to swap between the rake or blade but something to check out. Oh yea a set of forks is also a must.

Hey turtro I forgot to ask did you get the TNT kit from Kubota to. Make sure you post some pics when you get that Bad Boy home. I just listed my b7800 friday so I'm going to give it a week or two. If it dosnt sell I will just let the dealer take it on trade. I was out twisting those dam links back and forth yesterday dreaming of TNT. Cant wait

There are alot of auctions around here, and people selling tractor implements
that they no longer need, so I am planning to buy alot of 2nd hand
implements.:D

No did not get the TNT, after talking a little more with the dealer I thought maybe I should have, but the extra remotes pretty much broke the bank
account so the TNT will have to be an add on down the road if I require it.

Nice setup Turtro, I think you'll be happy. For things like rake and snowblade TSC is pretty cheap. Get wheels!

zurakowg, awesome setup. I'm guessing you are the only guy in Ontario looking forward to snow :p

Yea TSC is great when they have their stuff mis marked. Had a new store open by me and picked up the HD KK rear blade at the cheaper LD price one of the new employees must not have known the difference but I did. Plus I had a $50 off coupon OHHHH HAPPY DAAY!

Wow! You knew there was a pricing error . . . and you're bragging about your deal. What other ethical lapses are you comfortable with? I suggest you go back to TSC and make it right.

Canoetrpr: Sent you the $ info. The blower is indeed a Walco Meteor, but it is a 75". This makes it a touch wider than my wheels, which is what I was aiming for. Unfortunately I didn't compare prices with the traditional rear-type, rear-facing blower because it was the pull-type that I really wanted. I think the traditional blower is cheaper, though.
