Hello

I am buying a house in central Iowa and need to find the right small tractor. I have 6 acres mostly woods but about 1/2 acre of grass. Need a snow thrower attachment and a cart to haul dirt etc..

Any input or advice would be appreciated

Welcome to TBN. I would be looking at something along the lines of a Kubota B Series, John Deere 200 Series or other brand equivalent. You "can" get by with a SCUT, but they are not very good in the woods at least in my experience.

Iowa is Deere country, right? What is your budget? Four wheel drive is a must for the woods and very, very helpful for snow blowing. Used or new?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am doing my research and you guys are a great resource. Looking to spend around 5000-7000. Kubota Deere Mahindra all seem to be viable. I am surprised at how well these little things hold their value! Might just make the jump to new.

Appreciate the help and I am sure i will have questions.
