bales are curved left. the knotter works fine. looks like the strings are too far left

You can also adjust the tines that feed the hay into the bale chamber to balance out the shape of your bale. I have scanned a page from my NH68 baler manual which has a similar setup as your NH69.

New holland had a fix back at the time of manufacture, longer chamber side feeder tines... The part numbers are no longer in the computer parts manuals...call 573-756-4121 mark

The hay dogs are a HUGE issue...how do I know??... I had one side of my bales slightly looser than the other. Did this for almost 2 yrs and drove my NUTZ. Come to find out while cleaning out the bale chamber in the fall for storage I found one of the upper hay dogs frozen in the "up" position. Some WD-40 and some tapping got it working again and big difference in how my bales came out.,,,TIGHT on both sides finally!!

#63030 & 63029? Feeder tines were longer and hooked to correct this problem when new, you probably have the wrong tines due to new digital loss of this part number.
