new to this forum, Appreciate any feedback. i have a New Holland TD 95. We just recently replaced all the filters and changed the oil bc it was bogging down, and just not running as strong as usual. Last weekend it ran fine for about 3 hours, and as i was leaving the field, it started sputtering and died. now it will crank and run for a few minutes and die like it is starving for fuel.
Here is what i have tried.
any other ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated
thanks!!
Here is what i have tried.
- emptied and refilled both of the new fuel filters
- drained the tank and replaced the diesel
- replaced the lift pump
- traced fuel flow from the first filter to the second filter, to the lift pump, all the way to the injectors, and when i manually pump the lift pump, it is pushing or pulling fuel all the way to the engine. but when i run it, and it dies, it seems like there is not fuel left at the lift pump(the manual pump goes limp like there's no fuel in the hose to pump)
any other ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated
thanks!!
