I have a TC55DA EHSS. I was running my tractor and as I started to park it, the tractor kind of rolled forward just a little. This was while I had the Inching peddle pushed all the down. It felt kind of like the inching peddle was giving a signal to move forward, the first time this has happened. Now my tractor will start but not move forward or reverse. Nothing. I replaced the little cable on the valve. This had been broken for over 4 years. Just figured I would start with it. What does this cable do? Also, where is the switch that tells the tractor I have cycled the inching pedal? Is this inside the EHSS control module? This tractor has been a workhorse for us. Over 2000 hours. No problems at all. I know it is at the age where some things are going to happen. Any help would be nice.

I don't know anything about these tractors, but I figure any suggestion might be helpful.

I don't know what year yours is, but this thread talked about the inching pedal position sensor (a potentiometer) going out of range. When this happened, apparently the controller wouldn't allow either forward or reverse. It's possible that a faulty or out of range pedal position sensor is the cause of your issue as well.

One other thing, your range shifter didn't maybe get bumped into a neutral position by chance? It's free to check. Maybe try a different range just to make sure?

Thanks for the help. I pulled all of the plugs apart and cleaned them. I did replace the cable. Now it works. Go figure. I think it just may be time for a newer tractor. Parts are becoming discontinued. Just a throught.

Sounds to me like you need to start maintaining it better as in taking apart and cleaning all the Molex and other connectors and cleaning the contacts and packing them with di-electric grease. Much less expensive than buying a new tractor I'd say. I do that even with a new unit because an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I have maintained this tractor. I cleaned all the Molex plugs and packed them with Di-electric grease. This did get the tractor going forward and reverse, except now it just jerks into gear. It's like dumping the clutch peddle. I replaced the potentiometer. No change. Any Ideas?

Can you share a picture of the potentiometer?

I don't know about this one, but some potentiometers need to be adjusted so they're giving the correct reading at a given position. There may also be reset or relearn procedure required when replacing this sensor. Do you have a service manual?

If there is an adjustment or relearn required, not much way around that. But you can try a battery disconnect reset and see if that does anything. I recommend leaving the battery disconnected overnight to be 100% certain all circuits discharged completely, but at least 30 minutes bare minimum.
