Is this showing that the house water pressure is around 170 psi???? That seems really high - especially considering that the water line is over 1300 ft from the tap....

Ok, so that isn't your gauge.

They pump it up and check back to see if there was any leakage.

We are hoping to find out tomorrow that a property we tried to make an offer on last month goes back on the market. Someone signed a contract while we were walking the land.

I'll be building a home and plan on creating a thread like yours.. Thanks, I've already learned a bunch.

I use to keep the water lines pressured up until after the drywall and cabinets were in air makes less of a mess than water if a pipe gets punctured.

Yeah - I feel a little stupid for not thinking about air pressure testing. Makes a lot more sense..... They do that all the time on foreclosures that I look at.
