Hi

we started a new house, the basement walls were poured yesterday. I have taken a few pictures and will try to post them. It might take me awhile to get them re-sized for posting. the house is 2300 sq ft. with a 400+ sq ft bonus room over the 3 car garage. Stay tuned this might be a long story. I also went to an auction today and brought home another farmall cub, I now have a pair and working on a full house.

Looking forward to seeing your pics. It's always fun to see a new home being built, especially in different parts of the country. Basements are really something I don't have any knowledge of, so that's also very interesting to me.

Did you draw the plan yourself? Buy a plan? or hire somebody to draw it up?

Hi Eddie
We had the plans drawn after we modified a drawing we found in a book we liked.

Charlie,
That's quite a building site you picked out. I see why you had some "real" equipment come in there and do the site prep. Man, I had to do mine with my tractor. Obviously took longer than yours though.
Keep the updates coming and more pictures. Do you have plans or elevation views to share so we can figure out what goes where?

Many you are taking a lt on yourself but sweat equity wll certanly geerate the deserved rewards, provided you know what you are doing. Good luck to you and keep the pics coming. In Missouri with tornados, I was happy to see you building a basement.

Hi
A few more pic's. with about 80% of the walls up we have had about 4 days of rain, I hope that we don't have any water damage. 2 more weeks of dry weather and we would have had it under roof.
