New JD Tractors

Building house on 5+ acres myself. Need to excavate 40x40x10 hole for basement, build 150' road through 5' canal ditch & RR bed, utility trench, and 1/4 acre pond. I've time and willing to take small bites. Prefer JD 4300 with 48 BH w/12' bucket, 430 FEL w\60HD bucket & tooth bar & MX5 rear rotary cutter. Tight budget. In Ohio but will pickup. What's your best? (Will consider lower level - 47BH/420FEL/413RC - and/or used if SUBSTANTIAL savings.) Am member.

I currently have a demo 4400 hydro tractor here with the following specs:

4400 HST folding ROPS, mid-PTO, R4 Industrial tires, dual SCV, Power beyond kit

430 Loader 73 bucket, level indicator

48 Backhoe W/ 18 " BUCKET


The tractor looks new, and has 53 hours on it. It qualifies for NEW warranty, and also qualifies for new (5.9%) financing for up to 60 months.

I can sell this unit at $25513 for the entire package.

I can sell you a new MX5 cutter @ $1541 w/ safety chains installed, even less if you dont want the safety chains,

Any idea when the new 4x10s will actually be available? My local dealer doesn't have a clue. I've been putting off my purchase until I can at least see a brochure and get a price quote, but I can't wait much longer. I've been waiting until my new house was built to buy a tractor, but I move in tomorrow /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif so I won't be waiting much longer.

I am looking for a used JD 4600 with loader, hydro or reverser, less than 700 hours. Prefer turf tires, but R-4's will do. Anything available, delivery to MA?

Can you get the Allied Loaders? I'm looking for a 595 with the joystick to fit a JD 4020 diesel.

How come you are wanting to unload that 4600 so soon?

I'm not wanting to really unload it but the local dealer is giving me a heck of a deal on the new 4610, actually he's getting me a 4710. I have had zero problems with it. It still is under warranty until April. The dealer here is wanting to get the new ones to a few people that they know will use them and knowing how I use this one they offered me one for cost to use it and see how it performs. They also wanted to have me write up some info. for them on how it was for their sales department.
