Well, I have a 4500 demo tractor w/ under 200 hours on it which I can sell with a new 460 loader and a new 48 hoe for $26795. Tractor has new warranty and qualifies for 5.9% financing.

I wish you had emailed me back sooner and I would have bought from you. The one I got was more than that. Anyway you could post your website, dealer #'s, etc. so that we could get ahold of you before we bought somewhere else? Your prices seem very good.

Hi Cornhusker,
I'm in the market for one of the new 4710s with a 460 FEL, 4n1 bucket and a 48 backhoe. Live in Colorado Springs, so will also need price on shipping.

   / New JD Tractors #24
I don't have any pricing on the new 4710 tractors yet, but I imagine we should have pricing sometime next month. I will write when I get firm pricing.

Mr Conrnhusker or anyone else; I have a question, i recently placed an order for a 4100 HST. My Dealer is indicating that he is having some trouble getting a load date. Is this because the 4100 HST is in short supply at this time or ?

Thanks

Nuru

Nuru,

I believe JD stopped production on the 4100's. Can't remember where I read this. They have to be gearing up for the new series.

You should have your dealer search some other dealers close by. Since you guys agreed on a price, the onous is on him to find you one for the price!!

Good luck.

Nuru will have to suffer now and get stuck with the 4110... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Ok Terry,

Since you have Nuru listening to me... this is what he should do to speed up this tractor process...

1. Accept... Terry's like new condition 4100 immediately, so you can start work with it...

2. Terry, you can either wait for "your" new 4110 to arrive or...

3. Terry, you can kick in a few extra dollars now and upgrade to a 4210 or 4310...

{How did I do Terry...} /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

John,

Now that might not be a bad idea. I do want to move up a step or two. Hmmm... now how do a present this to the CFO.

I want to sell the Deere, dear, to a fellow on TBN as suggested by a fellow member. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Now I listen to uncontrolable laughter as she goes into the kitchen to grab the iron skillet. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

She offers a suggestion - something about the physcially impossible. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Think that I might have to turn down that suggestion John. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Kerr,

Flexibility is relative to ones physical well being, if ya get my drift. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Terry, Well, he found one and it will be delivered next week. I am now in search of trailer to go get it. I found a trailer dealer that has some specials for <$600 and able to handle 3500 GVWR and had 5 foot ramps. i am going to try to talk them down to <$500 - tough sell but hey, I can try! I will then saddle up my GT225 and take it and its extras to the dealer and swap tractors. I will tell you all how I did on the negotiations on the trailer!

Thanks

Nuru

   / New JD Tractors #34
Oh well, I was not so lucky on the negotiations, got there and saw the trailer, shouldn't have done that, wanted it right away. $600 but it hauls 2200 - 2500 pounds. So that is enough to get my 4100, the blade and the mowed deck back and fort to the shop.

Hey by the way, does anyone store their tractor on top of their trailer? "Covenant restrictions" are the culprit here Cannot stor trailer or tractor outside where it is visible. Wife says do not kill grass. Tractor and trailer have to occupy the same real estate in the garage. Any tips "Jack Stands?"

Nuru

   / New JD Tractors #35
You could put a block or a jackstand under the rear of the trailer to steady it when you get on it. It's not necessary but I like a somewhat steady platform. Just set it back there and use the tongue jack to load it. On a $600 trailer you are probably going to get a cheap tongue jack so it might not hurt to put one in the front, too. Don't store the tractor on the trailer outside. Nothing says " Steal Me!" like a tractor on a trailer.

Sounds like NYC expressways.../w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

You drive down the freeway... and note the "disabled vehicle" out of gas @ 5pm during rush hour traffic...

You return @ 6pm and see the unit with all the tires/wheels/custom seats/engine/stereo/...hood missing... and the vehicle sitting on the ground, resting on all four brake drums.../w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

"Don't store the tractor on the trailer outside. Nothing says " Steal Me!" like a tractor on a trailer. "

Actually in my first email on this I indicated the tractor and the trailer have to occcupy the same real estate in my garage and they are, in one of my garage bays. So please do not think I am keeping this outside. It is all inside. Thanks for the advice.

I think I will do the Jack stands to support front and back. That is what I was thinking about it, and the advice here make it easy to decide.

Thanks again!
