New JD2305 Purchased - Here\'s what I paid

Bought the machine last week and wanted to share this for comparison pricing. The dealer is located in Wisconsin.

2305 Tractor ---------------$9970
200CX loader ---------------$2411
54cMMM ---------------$1334

Total -----------------------$13,715

This seemed to be a good deal, not a great deal, but one I could live with because I liked the dealership and their services.

My choices were narrowed down to a NH TZ25, a Kubota 2230 and the JD. Drove both the NH and the JD. I rulled out the Kubota, because, in my opinion, the fit and finish were not in the same league as either the NH or the JD. In the end, the JD won on brand recognition (it was always the 'thing to have') for resale, and on price (it was ~2K less than the NH based upon quotes from dealers).

I've put 6 hours on it moving dirt and plowing snow with the FEL. So far, I think it's excellent.

I think you did fine. I hope you enjoy it. Keep us posted on any updates.

I'll be ready for my 50 hour service this week.

Re: New JD2305 Purchased - Here\'s what I paid

That's not a bad price. The only thing you might want to consider, is swapping the deck for the 62C. Many of us think it is a better combo with the 2210/2305, as it gives a better overlap, reduces the uncut circle, and effectively moves the ROPS further away from trees etc. If you have gates etc to fit through, then the 54 might be a better choice. Let us know how you like the tractor as you get more seat time! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm right at 150 trouble-free hours with my 2210.

Re: New JD2305 Purchased - Here\'s what I paid

Looks as though the prices have held vs. a year ago. That's almost dead on what I paid for my 4010, FEL, toothbar and LX4. The LX4 was about as much less as your MMM was more; toothbar plus LX4 = your MMM. The FEL is less than the 410, the tractor slightly more than the 4010. The 2210s with the same equipment as I got were $300 more.

Re: New JD2305 Purchased - Here\'s what I paid

Sounds like were in the same ball park. Mine came in at $170.00 cheaper. Now I am reconsidering the larger mower. I also speced the R-4 tires. At least I know what they are allowing for my trade with the outright prices given.
I just did a search on 2305 pricing and came up zip. Glad I saw your post. Thanks..

$13,500 appears to be the going price in the Midwest.

Re: New JD2305 Purchased - Here\'s what I paid

Congrats on the new 2305. The prices were better than mine here in Phoenix.

2305 ----- 10,400
200CX --- 2,580

My Total --12,980

A 600 dollar difference. This was the best I could get here in Phx.
The dealer here is very helpful so I'm not so worried about the 600 bucks.
