Its based on the Hellcat engine from the Challenger and Charger. I think 707 hp is just about the right amount so it sounds like a good plan to me.

Funny story - Heavy rain, and an uphill freeway ramp. The light changed and I suspected the BMW next to me would try to beat me up to where the onramp lanes merged to one. My elderly Wagoneer with the 400 ci had the traction he didn't, I got there first only to see him come screaming up behind and pass me on the shoulder way to fast for the graceful merge into heavy traffic that I had already accomplished.

But I only kept that pig for one year. It had severe continual problems such as wouldn't start when hot even after a new starter, battery, cables - a known problem discussed on Jeep boards at the time.

I should have kept my prior 300 ci Wagoneer with 4-speed and no AC (which was one reason I sold it. Also it had been broadsided while parked and never was quite right after $ thousands of insurance bodywork).
