John Deere 4105
I'm new to the forum, but have spent a lot of time browsing over the last few weeks. We were looking for a utility tractor to help with miscellaneous tasks around our property and landed on the John Deere 4105. I won't go in to the details, but if anyone has any questions about the tractor I will be glad to answer them. We got the 4105 and a 300cx loader with the skid steer quick attach. A 3rd hydraulic function (scv) will be installed in the coming weeks to run a 48" grapple. I also purchased a bucket and forks from Wildkat attachments. This was our first weekend with the tractor and I can report I am very happy. Friday night we hosted a hayride for some friends and it was the first use of the machine. Saturday morning filled the rear tires and spent some time moving some random things around the house, moving some dirt and resurrecting an old sickle bar. Sunday I ran the sickle bar around the ponds and moved a round bale with the forks. The tractor performed well. Here are a couple images:

Congratulations on the new tractor, so did it come with its own bed? Or what the heck is that you are lifting in the second picture?

Congrats, she's a beauty!

And yeah, what the heck is that thing you've got speared on the forks?

I have had the 4105 for a month or two and love it. Only have 25 hours on it doing a variety of things but very happy. image.jpg

Sorry I am so late on getting back to these replies! I am new to the forum thing. Those are actually old high jump mats. The local football field was flooded and they just threw them out. So we scavenged them to use for who knows what!

Buzzard, which backhoe do you have? We looked at putting the 375 on our tractor, but I opted to wait and get more opinions on it. I would be interested to hear how you like it.

I have the 375. That is the largest one you can put on it. Only used it a few times and am happy with it. It goes on and off real fast and easy. I had an old Woods 750 on my Last tractor and this is way stronger.
