Tiller New King Kutter 6' Tiller

Todd, I'm glad your ordeal is over. When I bought my 6' tiller in the spring at TSC they also gave me the wrong pto shaft. Luckily I figured it out before I left and about 30 minutes later they found the correct (yellow) shaft. I got a lot of good information from Jinman and walked in the store knowing more than they did about the tiller. I also had to inform them about the oil. The tiller works great.

I got my tiller from Rual King.... mines a chain drive not gear though....

they gave me a generic PTO shaft which i had to cut down to work .... i havnt gotten around to figureing out if and were the "Safty" on the drive train is (slip clutch / shear pin) (i promise i will before i blow up my PTO)

Ok, we'll hold you to that too, so don't even think about posting how your slip clutch was rusted tight and when the PTO blew it broke out the differential housing, stripped off gear teeth and sheared splines!

We don't have those stores up here in the Northeast... and I can't even find on-line what brand they sell.

Good luck man! Be careful with that thing! :)

Hi Jay - Now if you don't know about it already... it can't exist... or if it exists, it can't be a very good place! :D If you went outside the state for your tiller, it sounds like I should too. Those CCM tillers look pretty darn good in the pictures and the prices are certainly right! :)

But may I ask (and you know my hang-up): How was it crated/shipped? ;)

My tiller came completely plastic wrapped on not one, but two pallets. One pallet looked a little worn, but the other was "pallet perfection" :D. I use both for attachment storage. Jay

Go north to N.H. where there is no sales tax. That will more than pay for your gas or diesel to go get them.

Hi Jim - Lord knows that I know all about the sales tax-free land of "Live Free or Die"... and even hope to live there someday soon... but I haven't found a tractor place up there with an affordable tiller that will cover a 68-70" track... centered or offset! All I've found up there are the pricey "super-premium" brands. :(

If you know of one, please post about it here or sent me a PM! :) Thanks!!!
