While shopping tractors in the mid-Atlantic region I had three Kioti dealers tell me they can drive down to NC and pick up the tractor (pallets?) themselves, dropping a few weeks from delivery times. I don't see where you are located, or if you are within a day's drive of NC. I got mine off the lot, so it didn't matter. FWIW, if you are near the mid-Atlantic there were a few NX55 and 60 models available at various dealers two months back and at least one was itching to get them sold.

Appreciate the info, unfortunately Im in the central Louisiana region so thats a bit too far. My dealer searched around quite a lot before he ordered from the distributor but the closest dealer that had one available for transfer was 14hrs away and he understandably wasn稚 going that far to get it.

From what my dealer said the NX's come to him assembled. Smaller ones I saw in crates and my dealer said they assembled those.
Mine was ordered (this year) May 14th and my dealer got it in June 24th. He installed the third function kit and I picked it up June 25th.
He said they are catching heck trying to get them over the water which concurs with what I'm seeing in my business (auto parts) as well. Freight is backed up world wide.

The local JD & Kubota dealers have their lots overflowing with compact/subcompact tractors. They both have a fairly good selection of larger units. When I looked at the Chrysler - Ram 2500 Power Wagon - they had one on the lot. It's the blue one I have now. I really wanted a Power Wagon in gun metal grey. Was told - if there is not one on a lot somewhere in the PNW - I would have to wait, at least, six months for a special order. This was in December of 2018. Blue is just fine..............

Our dealer gets them in crates and does final assembly of all size tractors. He was down to about a half dozen tractors on the lot, but as of yesterday there was a pretty good selection of mostly crated tractors, but nothing larger than ck or aDK, from what I saw.
Try getting a kayak, class B motor home, pressure treated lumber, bicycle now. Inventory doesn’t exist.

I know someone who is shopping new car. Dealer told him it was 2 month wait if not bought off lot.
Even dealer trades are iffy for the popular colors and options unless the requesting dealer has something desirable in return!

I bought my NX5510 last summer. Came to my dealer in crates; assembly was done at their dealership site. Might vary between dealers though; some of the places that were selling tractors when I was shopping last year were not servicing centers, so I imagine they would have to get them fully assembled. Didn't look like they had any facilities to put one together if they wanted to. That's one reason I bought my tractor from a full-service dealership though, I wanted support after the sale if I needed it. Now my cousin bought a new Kioti last month from my dealer, and the lot was pretty empty. Early this spring their lot was full of tractors, but their inventory has been wiped out. The first time we went over to look, he really liked the DK5310 HST we looked at. I told him he probably shouldn't sleep on it too long, because it was the only one of that model on the lot. He went back a week later and the DK5310 was sold and gone, and the only other open station tractor left on the lot was a NX5010 HST, which he bought immediately before that one got away too. Dealer said he could probably sell a dozen more easily if he could get them in, and 2020 has been one of their highest sales years ever so far. Lot of demand right now, and not much supply. Covid is making a snarled up mess of international shipping for a lot of companies right now.
