Used the new blade yesterday. Cleaned out the ditches on the farm road and graded it down. The blade is much heavier than I am used to so it was easy to cut too deeply. I will finish grade later.

Skid shoes and Draft Control are your friends when doing this type of work. :thumbsup:

I have done these things with draft control and would like to also suggest a heavy and wide landscape (rock) rake for final finishing. With smooth grave/sand like you have, you could do a beautiful job.

With my 8 ft Woods HD rock rake, I can make dirt or a driveway flatter than a pancake.

Love that blade, our renter has a Rhino like that on his John Deere and it's amazing how well he can do on a road.

I have a 5 ft Land Pride that I bought to clean up ground behind the dozer. I may have to try it on the final grade....thanks!
