New Kubota B2650 found a home

I'm going with a Lucknow 50" tiller. It is gear drive and a good price.

I just looked them up. Nice heavy duty stuff. I inquired about a tiller and blower for my BX2660. I'm hoping they are a diamond in the ruff after seeng Provonost's price.

I was quoted $2200 for the 50" but we always seem to pay more in Canada....but this may not be the case here as Lucknow is made in Ontario, Canada.
It is gear drive and pretty stout. I was going to go Landpride, as my other implements are, but dealer showed me these.

BTW, while you all are still deciding,.....you may as well get the Land Pride Quick Hitch (QH-15) or something like it because that tiller is kinda hard to muscle around,,,,,as well as any other heavy implements. I say that because I did it backwards....viz., bought all the attachments including the PTO shaft that I cut for the tiller.

Well, when you buy the Quick Hitch, the PTO shaft is then, too short, and you have to buy another PTO shaft or try and rebuild the short one.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mark, I too am looking at the 2650 ROPS. I tested one at dealer yesterday. Very nice tractor with one exception. Its seems the fenders are very flimsy. Not sure if the one I tried at dealer is missing some parts. When I pull on the fender handles the whole fender moves back and forth about 2-3 inches. Is your like this?
Thanks
Dave

Hi All,

A couple days ago I pulled the trigger on a new B2650 with FEL and 60" MMM. As soon as it gets delivered (hopefully next week) I'll be a proud new orange card carrying member.

People here have already been very helpful doing my shopping around period, and I have no doubt that I will be back again and again. In fact, I'll be making a second post here shortly to solicit advice on a tiller :)

If anyone has thoughts on the Sicma brand I'd be happy to here them, but I didn't want to hijack this forum with a tiller specific question.

I'll post some pictures when the new toy arrives.

Are you talking about the "bars" on either side used to pull yourself up, etc? If you can move those 2-3 inches that seems a little extreme. That said, I have noticed that the fender is not super sturdy, but I notice it most when stepping on the side step.

Other than a few nit-picks it's been a great tractor so far.

Thanks for reply, Yes I am talking about the bars to pull yourself up. I also noticed when salesman stepped on step to get up onto tractor there was a fair bit of movement in the deck and step. My old 7510 Kubota was so solid in comparison. Do you think its not a big deal? Probably just built lighter to cut costs. I checked out the last year B3200 and B3300 on lot and they have much stronger sheet metal. I would go with the B3300 as it is about 1500.00 cheaper but has the four cylinder and the vibration issue.

I don't think that's normal -- I saw one a few weeks ago, and it the fenders/floor felt about the same as my old 2920 did. Maybe someone left some of the bolts out during assembly at the dealer.

Thanks for reply, Dealer is going to contact Kubota to see if its normal

All the Kubotas I've climbed up on had a little flex, but certainly no movement in inches. So hopefully this is an assembly fluke. I'm about 195-215 lbs by the way (seasonal range).

I love my B3300SU!
