Great idea Paul. Can you put one of those in a stretcher so it'll fit me Woods BH-80X ?

Also a great idea having that young guy play you in the video. Should end up with a lot more female customers that way !

Hey the young guy was the hook to get people to watch. I toned it down a bit because the wife don't like all the young girls out waiting by the door for me when I put up a new video. :laughing:

I know I am year late to this party, but I just got my bx about 3 months ago and have been working to replicate the kwik com. I love the mods 4shorts makes and have been working to install some of them. It still needs the crossbar piece and second layer over the holes. I used some design software to make the shapes and have the .dxl files or jpegs if anyone wants to use them. you could print and trace or I used my CNC plasma to cut them out. The problem with the CNC plasma is that the holes slightly bevel out, so I made the holes too small and bored them out on the bridgeport. I just realized my pictures are pretty small. I will remedy that later and upload more as it gets finished.

7lakes, that is fantastic work. And very good of you to offer the cad info. I for one would be very happy to have the files as I am interested in making one for my BX. If it could be a 3D .iges file I can work with it and make others from that.
If that file is not possible then the others will work fine.
And for sure we have to thank Paul for the great idea.:drink:

i can send vectors as .ai .dxf .eps and .svg other than that it would take a touch of work to import it into solidworks and export as a 3d object. Your 3d software should be able to import vectors and then 3d them later. I didn't need 3d shapes for this project. what 3d software are you using cschulz? I can't find a way to upload the vectors directly to the forum. I will keep trying to find a way.

Anyways, I TIG welded her up today and put on some primer.

Finished up. A little tweaking, but it works great. Thanks Paul Short for the idea. Just like anything you do once, I know how I would improve it in the future.
