Wow! Congratulations!
That looks like a pristine example, for sure!
I'm in the market for the same machine, and I wondered if you could answer a few questions. I ask because I've seen conflicting info (in various sources, now that
Kubota Tractor Corporation no longer publishes detailed specs in their "Prior Products" section on their website. So...:
1. Were you able to determine
when the tractor was actually built? I don't know how to tell you to do this, either. I
do know, from what dealers have told me, that the "model years" we (and the industry) somewhat casually refer to them by is actually the date the first buyer purchased the machine, or the "in service" date.
2. I've read that
Cruise Control was an option on the 2013's (
But I don't have info on prior years--anybody know if the options remained constant throughout the model run? Does yours have Cruise Control?
3. I've read that
an "adjustable suspension seat" was an option on the 2013's (
But I don't have info on prior years--anybody know if the options remained constant throughout the model run? Does yours have Cruise Control?
3. a) IF you have the suspension seat,
how do you like it? I ask because I had back surgery and, at 170lbs.,
I wondered how much "travel" or suspension I might actually expect to enjoy out of one.... (And I'm assuming there's no "shock absorbing damper"--just springs, right? Which have to be waaay better than no suspension, I'm guessing!)
4.
I LOVE the canopy! What a great place for work lights, too. Would you happen to know
the exact height of the canopy, in the up position?
5. Would you happen to know
the exact height of your (OPENED) garage door in that bad-*** mancave you've got going, there? Looks pretty spacious!
6. If you cared to share, I wondered what you may have done, if anything, about
liability insurance for your business? I'm not familiar with whether or not KTAC has any exclusions preventing their off-property coverage from applying, if used for commercial purposes, and I know you didn't even mention KTAC.
I just know plenty of us probably have similar dreams of starting a small business with these tractors, (which you have made a reality :thumbsup
and I'd like to learn about any insurance solutions members have come up with, that don't break the bank. (I've done work in the past for people I knew wouldn't sue me, but that's a limited market--LOL).
Also, you should know I have garage floor envy. That (new?) concrete is
b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l....
Thanks again,
and be$t of luck with your new business! It sounds like you did it right, by already having the clients lined up and waiting. :licking:
My Hoe
P.S.: I have a new thread about the folded height of the ROPS on an L3800HST that I just started, but I didn't want to "highjack" yours. If anyone's interested in that question, the thread is here:

Thanks guys! She is now home, here are a couple of pics, and she fits nicely in the garage:
