Well, that said, I have to say the comfort level of my M9 is as good as my car. I have an air ride swivel seat with armrests, tilt wheel, excellent climate control, heat and cooling, abundant soundproofing, am-fm-cd-weatherband radio with speakers mounted right next to each ear all the controls are in easy reach and the cabin glass (tinted and defrosted electrically) has no blind spots whatsoever. I can even look out the back and directly down when hitching an implement...it is all glass right to the 3 point.
My climate control vents are all overhead like my previous
L5030 was. I see that Kubota is now placing air outlets in the dash right above your knees. Not a bad idea though I have never had a problem with the overhead units.
In retrospect, my
L5030's cab was a little tight for my 6'2" frame. The FEL joystick was ridgid mounted to the right inside fenderwell and made the right door about useless. The M9 on the other hand has a wider cab and the joystick swivels out of the way so the right door can be used.
I tend to spend considerable time in the tractor when farming. I pack my lunch and eat in the field or when I am in the field after my day job, I am out there until after dark. Comfort is a prime concern for me and my Kubota's have never let me down in that respect......I'm on my 8th one.
At 45K I do expect some comfort and attention to detail.
