Don't mean to hijack, but hope this will make aaronv feel a bit better-
Wanting to add on to my tractor shed, I just had some 60/40 sand/dirt mix hauled in to build up. Stuff was pretty wet, so I began plowing to open it; somehow I managed to hit a post brace with the tractor bucket which then glanced off and struck the corner of the roof, ripping the metal sheet off the purlins in that spot. Disgusted, I went inside to take a break and met face to face with SWMBO. The only time my wife is NOT in the 100% mind reading mode is when she is sleeping, which at that time is idling around 75-80%. Seeing the look on my face opened the interrogation, which ultimately led to my confession. After her damage appraisal came the donkey Bar B Que, then she returned inside, and I resumed plowing.
Wish I could end the story here, but after about 5 minutes of plowing, I made a pass close to the accident site to see if it had begun healing....wouldn't you know it, while looking at the damaged roof I hit the next post with the bucket!
Managed to straighten the galvanized post almost back to normal, but that darn bright orange paint is really hard to get off!
