New L 02 Series

To each their own but a hair less than 2800 hours on this '10 L3940 and no repairs yet except a couple batteries, knock on wood.
Yeah, some people have been complaining about electronics in cars for years. Yet the new cars last far longer and operate better than the older vehicles.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I looked up parts for your tractor and there isn't any DPF for the exhaust and I did not find a electronic control units (ECUs). This is the type of tractor I'm talking about....

40 series have an electronicly controlled HST. I believe electronics on the engine. But they predate DEF/DPF mandates so don't have the emissions gear. The only big changes going to the 60 series was emissions. Handful of minor cosmetic & HP tweaks when they did. Doubt they would have rolled out the 60vserirs if it weren't for the emissions.

Let us know how that goes.
I would be interested in seeing how much more power you can make, in the 2000-2200 rpm range
It has taken longer than expected to get the parts together and find the time for the project but…things are finally moving forward;

I should have everything finished and running by the end of the month.

The silicone couplers and hose clamps should be here tomorrow so I can remove the duct tape, lol

The transition pipes are being made by hand and have been taking way more time than expected. If we make anymore, I’ll use pre-made transition pipes to save time. Plus, they’ll probably look better too.

Working on the downpipe now.

Looking good.

I'm sure you know this but don't forget to deal with the breather tube going to intake manifold. You may need to plug it at the intake manifold and reroute it to the intake side of the turbo.

We made one rookie mistake on the intake charge pipe, we didn’t account for the hood prop-rod/absorber. So, we’ll have to redesign that pipe in the near future. Shouldn’t be a big issue.

I’ll have the tractor back on the property tomorrow and should have some time to run it around on Sunday. I’ll start making fuel adjustments next week.

And, to bring this thread back on track, assuming Kubota makes an L2502, I’ll buy one so I can put this turbo setup on it. ;)

I’m looking at a L3302 HST 50th anniversary edition, hoping to purchase it and a backhoe with it!

I’m not familiar with the 50th anniversary edition. What’s it include?
