I believe the harness is already in the roof for the hookup. Having said that, I think you are right about the antenna and speakers are one kit and the radio is another.
If I remember correctly when I got my previous tractor, a 5030HSTC, the dealer had to order the speakers and antenna seperately from the radio. The antenna was a "rubber ducky" type and side mounted on the cab/rops structure if I remember correctly. It was a left front mount.
On the M9, the antenna is a short ridgid one that mounts on a welded strut that attaches to the rear light bracket. The speakers are identical, however, the radio isn't.
I'm not real happy with the radio and I stated that previously. I need the NOAA weatherband more than I need anything else so I believe I am going to install a Panasonic am-fm-NOAA-CD unit. We have 12 of them in the store right now. My Panasonic "Kubota" branded radio is up for grabs. Both are DIN 1 chassis so it's a no brainer.
