Foggy,
I am told that the 50 hr service NO longer requires the hydraulic fluid change, ONLY the Two filters, can you confirm? Thanks

EDIT:

We have a car dealer that heard a customer was badmouthing a vehicle she had sold, she called, asked him to bring the vehicle to service dept. She met him there, told him he WAS NOT leaving W/ that vehicle.

She wrote him a check on the spot for 110 percent of purchase price, then called a car service to transport the customer to his home, at her expense.

This is exactly how I would handle a certain member constantly complaining about his tractor purchase.

Hah, I hope it wasn't the link I last shared that put you over the edge, exciting times.

How far out are you from delivery? We're 6-8 week on our L4760 but that's because they had to order it directly from the factory.

That's good news, you'll have exactly 1 year before the paint fades badly!

I changed my fluid very early and saved it to use in shared implements, in my case an old crawler that shares a woodsplitter. The Kubota fluid in my crawler helped the cold weather operation of the hydraulics greatly.

Only 1 of the 2 filters is due at 50 hours. The 2nd is at 200. Dont recall if its HST or hydraulic.

I believe their is both a HST filter and a Hydraulic filter.....and according to the "service intervals" in the maintenance section of my owner book......they both (along with the engine oil and filter) need to be changed at 50 hrs. There is a whole schedule in the manual of what and when......but the frequency is similar to other brands.

I suppose its a good idea to change those hydraulic filters early to get rid of initial break in contaminations. No big deal.

I'm slightly overdue for my 200 hour service... Dealer gave me engine oil & filter along with 1 of the hydraulic filters. They gave me the other hydraulic filter last time along with the engine stuff.

At the time it matched one of my manuals.

https://www.kubotausa.com/service-support/maintenance-schedules/check-points-maintenance-schedule doesn't always match all the manuals & occasionally the manuals & WSM dont match each other.

I wouldn't reward a whiney customer with a check and profit unless they had some major legitimate problems. That just encourages and reinforces the behavior. Did the customer just want to complain or was it a true lemon?

JBO,

According to the customer's best friend (a barstool), there were a few minor issues, but he Never sought warranty service, preferring to just complain instead.

The dealership owner, has three major franchises, over two hundred employees, a Women w/ impeccable integrity, but impugn her reputation, then watch out, She would make Mother Nature take a knee out of respect.

Just a little tired of reading the tractor brand sarcasm in each of his posts.

Foggy, you ARE NOT the subject of this post.

^. I was more than a little taken back by the less than warm response upon buying my tractor. I think I smell some sour grapes among the posters here. Kinda sad when that happens. Anyway, despite the comments, I think I will be happy with my purchase. I used to think most folks here had constructive info. Maybe its time for a friendlier site?
