Wouldn't the difference between a cut and utility be cat 1 and cat 2?

I'm sure that is at least partially correct but there are some CUTs that can use Cat 2 implements. The Kioti NX6010 is almost identical to the NX4510 but the 6010 can be configured for Cat2.

In my eyes it's a serious consideration. But then that line even gets blurred. My 1984 Ford 3910 is CAT I/II. Interchangeable balls in the lower 3pt arms.

My MX 4700 is listed as having a category I/II hitch also. Kubota calls it a utility tractor, but it competes against models known as CUTs by other manufacturers.

Does it have CAT I balls in the lower arms?? If so, are they interchangeable??
