pillar, i bought a land pride rcr25 twin spindle rotary cutter. i got the 8', 3ph model. it works very well with the 8540. you would probably want a front weight bumper and a set of weights on the front for ballast with that size mower. good luck. i prefer to mow without the loader on.

Great looking tractor! My recommendation is not to grin to much when you are using it or other people will ask to borrow it.

I put about 2 hours on the tractor this afternoon, had a great time even though it was a cold and windy day.

Excellent looking tractor, congratulations on your new purchase. Just curious, did you ever consider the M9540? Not taking anything away from the tractor you bought, I'm just curious why people get the M8540 when the M9540 is not that much more. Again, please don't take this in any negative way, just wondering.

My new Kubota M8540HD was delivered this morning. Purchased from Barlow Equipment in Somerset, KY, great folks and a great deal.
