I don't find anything about the jerky lift when Googling "class action lawsuit kubota hitch." There is one on false horsepower claims (by all small engine mfrs), etc. and some lawyer in LA whose last name is Kubota of all things! I do find a lot of discussion on the jerky lift topic at the OrangeTractorTalks | Kubota Tractor Tips, Classifieds, Specifications and Discussion site. Consensus seems to be that the disease is "standard" with the L-series Kubotas, that Kubota is stonewalling the users, often having dealers "adjust" things which really does not fix the problem at all, that the L-series is "low priced" and therefore does not have decent control over the 3pt hitch rise. If you buy the more expensive "Grand L " or the M-series you apparently do not have the disease.

OH DEAR ! I was strongly considering the M8560 to replace my MF2660 until I finally got all the bugs out of it.

Like I said, have dealer hook mower up to the 8560 you are considering to check. Not all of them do it. 10 foot cultivator would work also. You just want something long enough to see the hitch movement, drop all the way down, feather it up to full height as slow as you can in one continuous motion. She will show her hand. If it does bounce, find another one. Dealers changing parts etc. is only mildly successful.

For the record....The 2605/15/25 and 35s were built in India, not Japan. The 2650/60/70 and 80s were built in Brazil. The GC2300/2400/1700 - 1700 Series and 4600 Series are Japan built.
