Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself and brag about my new purchase. I live in MS. And have 6 acres with a home and plan to purchase more next year. I had a 3000 ford diesel, I used mainly for bush hogging and a little blade work. I sold the 3000 and this week purchased a Kubota 3130 DT, with brush hog brand loader, bush hog brand 5ft cutter, and bush hog brand 5ft box blade all for $18,200.00. I have some clean up to do on the 6 acres and the loader will come in handy. I have never owned a loader and am thinking of many uses for it. Anyway, I hope I got a good deal, I did a lot of research and Kubota is offering $1500.00 rebate of the L series. I think I got the best buy of all the brands I looked at.

One more thing, can anyone comment on the L3130 Compared to the 3000 Ford.

Welcome!! I've found this is a great place to hang out and get loads of good information. Post some pics.

Try starting a thread on the Kubota Owning/Operating forum about the L3130. All I can say is that's a great tractor for that sized land.

Thats a real popular tractor on this forum, many of the guys have that model and are very happy with it. Its a workhorse of a machine. The price sounds real good also. Many of the guys have that machine and take care of considerably bigger parcels of land with it !

Good luck with your new tractor, and as Glowplug suggested, you could start a post on the Kubota board about the comparison.
