Greetings from just south of Auburn and just west of Cortland, NY!
Am awaiiting deliver in a couple of days of a brand new small lawn tractor (John Deere x390). Have been using a Dixon Grizzly 60" that was sort of overkill for my yard, which is less than an acre. Decided to go with a 48" deck width mower/tractor that could also be fitted with a snow blower if needed (i.e., if my trusty, almost thirty-year-old Troy-Bilt dies). Many friends recommended JD, and my next door neighbor (who is a true lawn & garden geek working in the farming support industry) very highly recommended JD. Going back to a "conventional" unit will take a bit of time, but I am certain it will be worth it.
