New member from western Pa.

Hi I am new to the tractor world and would like to say this site seems to be very knowledgeable of all things tractor related, so I know I am in the right place! I recently purchased five acres next to my existing home. I'm not looking to cut all of it, just an acre or two. I just aquired a ford yt16 tractor from a friend for free! (scrap dealer). Tractor looks to be in really good shape and his yard guy said the previous owner said it ran good but needed the space so he scrapped it. The only thing it seems to need is an ignition switch (no key) and a battery to see if it runs. So I am here to look for any questions that may come up in trying to get this thing running and keep maintained. Thanks in advance for any stupid questions that may be asked.:thumbsup:

Welcome to TBN! You will find a lot of very good info here. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of knowledge floating around here. Don't be surprised if in the near future you find yourself looking for a larger machine for your property.
