Heh, new member also here, and relatively new owner of this same machine, ct2025 HST. I got the FEL, beet juice in the rears, and delivery 60 miles from dealer, for roughly $4500 less than an equivalent orange unit I was looking at, back in summer of 2019. Very happy with tractor. I do light logging with it, push snow, gravel hauling, trench filling, it's been very handy to have around!
I doubt all readers will have "Fleet Farm" stores in their vicinity, but if there is similar vendor-think farm supplies, sporting goods, auto supplies, tools etc....you may find something like the "Farm-Rated" brand I reach for in hydraulic oil. But there's lots of good ones. For motor oil, I guess I ended up with Shell Rotella. That also seems to be good for this engine.
I seriously doubt there's a better compact tractor deal on the market these days, and I can cite many parallels to what some of you found. Kioti guy couldn't even tell me when he'd have something in stock in the size class I was interested in nor could he match the Bobcat price. The other orange brand, as I mentioned above, was quite a bit more $$, and I never considered green.
One rather small item, but one which pleases me greatly is having two pedals for shuttle, one forward, one reverse. I'd operated much Kubota equipment over the years, and liked it, but once I went to the two-pedal system, I'd hate to have to go back to that awkward rocker. Another one is the near-complete lack of plastic. You got the dash, the knob on the loader control lever, maybe a bit up in the grill area-not sure-but that seems to be it. The green ones I think are more plasticky. This is one staunch machine.
