I am a new member to TBN and just thought I'd introduce myself. As the title states I don't yet have a tractor. I have been researching tractors off-and-on now for about three years. I have been browsing (snooping) around on this site for months now. I have learned quite a bit. I do have an old/small MTD lawn and garden tractor. I also have a Kubota ZD28 zero turn mower (28hp diesel w/ 72" deck). But still no tractor. I am very close to purchasing one though. I will post on the board when I do but I don't want to give anything away yet. Just to let everyone know, I don't do anything small. I tend to go overboard. Here's a hint: It'll be BIG, ORANGE, AND SCARY!!! Well, maybe not scary.

This is the best forum I have seen or been a part of. Everyone seems so genuine, helpful, and civil to one another. Just a bunch of people with a common interest and passion getting together to discuss and learn. I love it!!

Welcome to the forum Doc. When things work, it's a great way to de-stress. When things don't, well, that's what the forum is for. I think your handle should have been "Dr. Mow".

Glowplug: Just because it is the Halloween season, don't feel the need to buy ORANGE!!! Just kidding.....

One of my best customers and I go at it every time we see each other. He is ORANGE and I am JD GREEN. We both have high quality tractors.

Welcome to TBN!!

I looked at Orange (nice stuff) Looked at Blue (nice stuff) and tried to look at Green, but the local dealer was not very friendly.

I "demod" a Grand L3830 and a New Holland TC40D . Had 3 hours with each on my property. Both are very smooth. Both were HST. After all of this, I went with a used New Holland TN70A.

Enjoy the journey. Try everything before you buy.

Hey, Lake Lure! Nice area. I think green tractors are fine machines. I just know a lot more about orange ones. I have a good relationship with a local dealer. I like the way they drive. And I have good credit with the company. I also like blue tractors. I haven't made up my mind about red ones yet.

Welcome to TBN Glowplug!

I was just in Kentucky for the first time ever a couple weeks ago. We were heading to Nashville with a stop at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green!:D
Saw some pretty fancy spreads around the Lexington area. Overall the drive through KY was beautiful.
I'm equal opportunity, I like all colors of tractors!:)
