Let's see...Kentucky, 2 little girls, got horses? That looks like horse fencing behind the ZD28.

Welcome to the board. If you do things in a BIG way, they just get bigger when you use hydraulics. I put in all my fencing by hand (pre-tractor) and now I think nothing of moving a fenceline, making a new pasture, or moving a block wall back 5 feet for a wider turning radius.

If you can imagine it, you can do it.

That is horse fencing behind the mower. I have a 40 foot by about 300 foot horse barn with ten stalls and an indoor riding arena but no horses. That part of the fence behind the mower is part I plan to remove when I get my new tractor. I want to remove about 1.5miles of 3-plank fence and then replace about 3/4 mile with 4-plank fence. That's one of my first planned projects.

No, it's not a Kioti in my future. I will tell everyone that it'll likely be a Kubota.

With a cab?

No cab. I'm going to go pretty big and overboard but no cab. I feel that would not be fair for my first tractor. I need to experience (suffer) the outdoor weather before I can justify getting a cab.

Okay, how big?

Once you go to a nice cab, it's over, you will always want one. I had the best of both. I ran open station internationals from the late 70's through the 80's, i went to kubota with cab in 2000 & now i want to work every day!

Welcome to the forum - lots and lots of nice folks here with good advice. But - watch out - it can be very habit forming!

Hi Glowplug. I too am new to this board. I have been watching it for a few days and everyone seems very helpful. I made my first post earlier on the attachment/implement board. Want to hook things up right. Good luck and happy farming.
