I have just registered on the tractorbynet website. I am the owner of a New Holland TC-33D and have just purchased a new Cub Cadet GT 2550. I have owned the TC-33D since 2003, but am new to Cub Cadets and curious to hear from owners of the GT 2550. I was a little disappointed when I got the 2550 home, the hood would not stay up and I had to return it to the dealer to have the hood struts repalced. I had not opened the hood at the dealers as I knew what it looked like from previous looks. I plan to use the 2550 for mowing only (approx. 2 acres) and had hoped for a reliable machine.
The New Holland has been good after a few electrical problems when new.
