Hi, I am a woodsman on a country estate in Scotland. I sell firewood and Boards. The smaller tractors suit the small scale extraction of timber and splitting. IH276 for pulling the trailers, Ford 4000 for the grunt on the log splitter. Fransgard winch on the 3PL most of the time. PTO screw splitter for logs on the Ford. Bigger tractors are too cumbersome and I loathe changing implements back and forth all the time, hence multiple small tractors.
