Tractor
2011 M8540 4x4 Cab
Ok, I live in Sulphur Louisiana, live on a little farm with horses, chickens, and dogs. The wife is a big animal lover, so we have 5 dogs and myself, love classic cars, have 66 mustang and 82 crossfire corvette, love boating, and 4 wheeler riding, also many other oudoor activities. I have just purchased a kubota M8540 HD 4x4 Cab and have been enjoying it for 3 months now. I have a Mahindra 50hp 2000 model and really like it also, been a good tractor and still use it; purchased the Kubota since the dealer is close, just got tired of driving far for Mahindra parts or taking to the shop.
I would like to suggest if you are looking to purchase a tractor or anyother type of equipment, consider the location of the dealers and type of repair facility, from your place of resident.

Welcome to TBN, we have had our M8540 HDC about 1 1/2 years and really like it. We also have a L5030 HSTC and a few others.

Thanks all for the welcome. Question ------TripleR; did you get the Kubota with the back tires liquid filled. I had to fill mine with antifreeze and water, sure made a difference on the ride.....from being top heavy. I set up a garbage can and a sump pump, then jacked up the tractor and pumped it in, sure took awhile. I thought they pre-fill from factory or dealer would prior to sale. My Mahindra tractor came with liquid filled tires, just thought Kubota would of done the same or am I just the one off time they did not.

Yes, I had filled tires figured into the deal. My dealer Davis Farm Supply uses windshield wiper fluid.

A lot of people surprisingly don't want filled tires, so they stay empty on the lot as it is easier to fill them than drain them.

We have three tractors on one farm with no ballast as all they do is pull rotary cutters or finish mowers.
