I am a new member from south central Nebraska . I am interested in John Deere lawn and garden tractors . I currently have an early model 210 that I am currently going through to fix it up . I currently am experiencing a whining in the transmission . I have heard that this is normal because of the straight cut gears . So how can I quiet this down ? It would be so much more enjoyable if it weren't so loud .
