Good day to you all. I live in Northland New Zealand which is variably sub tropical or temperate with plenty of rain forest still left. I work around 100 acres made up of extra steep hill country with a lot of bush in the gullies plus about 45 acres of flat fertile river grassland. I run a ford 2100 4wd tractor powered by a Shibaura and right now with the extended holiday season it has decided tobe unco-operative with problems with neutral safety switch. Businesses virtually close down now for 10 days or so staff ( and owners) can make most of the southern hemisphere summer season, so tractor work foeme may have to go on hold. Cheers to you all

Good day to you, sir, and welcome to the site from Iowa, USA. I run the very little brother of your tractor, a Ford 1100 with a Shibuara. Its a little workhorse. Not sub tropics here. We have -10F to look forward to for Christmas night (-23C). Yesterday was the first time I used it to move snow. There's lots of good help here. Sorry I'm no expert on your problem. Might try posting on the Ford forum. Good luck with your switch issue, and cheers to you!
