Happy to find this resource! Hoping it will help solve my mower woes (grass is getting tall!) I mow 2.5 acres. its a yard not a lawn, half weeds for sure :confused2:

My dad had old cub cadets when I grew up that were built nothing like the MTD-clones now. Around 2009 I bought a 60s or 70s era Ford mower that I enjoyed till it lost compression..

Now I own a Cub Cadet LTX1050 with the Kawasaki engine (175 hours) that has been nothing but problems. Woudln't but it again. Latest thing is the PTO has a delayed start and it bogs the engine guess I'll look for where the right place to put thread topic is.

To the TBN forum gidaeon. Sorry to here about your mower problem. It is true that they don't make them to last long as they want you to keep buying a new one.
