Ford 3910 Diesel (Model CA454C)
My wife has a farm in the CVNP south of Cleveland. We have a Ford 3910 Diesel Tractor. I am reaching out in this forum to obtain more knowledge of maintenance. I am servicing the fuel system. The fuel line goes into a clear container with a visible filter element and beneath the glass container is a bleeder. Obviously, this is a water separator unit. My question is....what is the filter number for this unit. I already have the second filter which has a metal casing around the filter element.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

A picture would certainly help (for those of us unfamiliar with your tractor's setup). On my 4105's fuel bowl (clear container that has the water separator cock) there is no filter, that filter comes after the fuel bowl.

Enjoy the site.

See attachment above. The left container is the fuel separator and the right is the fuel filter. I could not get a better picture due to the superstructure of the front loader.

I sent two photos. One of the separator and one showing the separator left of the fuel filter.

llooks like the filter number is to the right of the directions ... just look on the side of the canister.
