Any chance of some enhancements to make viewing posts a little easier for the unregistered (majority of) users of this site? I realize the "to do" list must be pretty long, but even having the default set to flat instead of threaded would eliminate having to double load each thread. Showing the the first several words of each post along with the subject would be great too. I would think it would be good to encourage unregistered users to keep comming back, they may contribute and some may even register (since that seems to be the goal).

Thanks a lot! Also a note to Muhammad, since you directed me to the site to check my speed I have found that my cable modem is running real slow during peak evening hours. I have recorded speeds up to 6800 K bits/second and as slow as 13.5 K bits/second. The latter is much slower than a 56.6 K line! I'll do some checking with @home and see if this is "normal" in my area. Thanks for all the help. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif JimBinMI

Muhammad, Hey just wanted to let you know that with the new mac G4 the forum is cranking now! I can't believe the speed difference, its like night and day! Now if I can just figure out how to get my printer to work I'll be all set! Take care, Von
