New model coming out this year

Lou,

I also just noticed on the website it says the 3 pt hitch is a cat II. Hmmm. Not sure if I'd like that or not either? If you didn't have any implements yet, maybe? But I think cat II implements are harder to find (used) and more money (new)?

Also, looks like there's some typo's on the spec sheet. They list a 58 gal fuel capacity.

Yes but that horsepower is getting to when the cat 2 would be more appropriate size and strength wise and also another reason to have multiple pto speeds much of the cat 2 is 1000 rpm.
With the adjustable sway bars I can narrow down enough to use cat 1 on the 8050 just a bushing required.

Yea, I doubt that fuel capacity but it would be nice some days I've only got a bit under 32 gallon capacity and I have had to top off sooner then I wanted to. It was a pain when we did a hay field several miles away and I needed to ted it several times and was leaving the tractor in the field.

I think I would personally prefer that they did not convert more models to electro-hyd 4wd. Just personal preference, and part of the KISS principle that lends strength to the Branson as a choice. Adding more "foo-foo" stuff and electronic controls may be where the future in the market goes, as more SCUT and CUT shoppers want the products they buy to be more like new cars. But I kind of like where my model is, other than the radio and dash cluster, nothing else is "electronic" in nature. There are electric switches for lights, cruise, pto and A/C, but they are just switches and relays.

I also wish my loader controls were more discrete. My loader lift and lower control is very good, and can inch it up or down when needed. But my curl function is like a spastic toddler with an energy drink and a donut. And I can't curl and lift at same time. Not the end of the world, but if someone came up with an upgraded FEL control, like an aftermarket kit, I'd be all over it.

Ok, fair point, the electro-hydraulic is not really needed and would add compexity. I'd be happy if the existing 4wd was easier to shift out of. OTOH the electro hydraulic PTO is pretty reliable. And electric-hydraulic actuation of 4wd would allow it to be turned on and off while moving, and allow Branson to put it in 4wd when braking on a downhill with just a simple level sensor and relay.

It'd be possible to replace the loader valve with a better one. I think the cables are pretty standard. However it's a crap shoot unless you get one that other people have used on a similar loader and reported that it allows simultaneous operation.

That is an interesting point on having the front end engaging during braking for hills. I live in an area that is extremely flat ground, most of the state is actually very flat. You guys that live in real hills and mountains have to contend with "stuff" that I don't have to worry about. I can see where that would be useful to buyers in your case. And I have not had any issues at all with my pto controls, so there is that too. I guess I'm just old enough I initially view all "improvements" with a skeptical eye.

:D

o so we juts got the first load in off the truck here are some more close up pictures of the new 5835R, and i was mistaken the 6225 won't be coming to america, however they will instead be releasing a new 65 hp model in 2022 which i've been told by our dealer rep will be the 6535R
we will still be getting the 7445, and the Branson 110hp which has yet to be given an official designation.
i attached a few picture sthe rest are at the link below
5835R pictures

Any chance we can see the google drive photos, it says they have been "moved to the trash"

.....if they can just get the EPA to release the 7445 model and we will be good. From what i've been told these we be built off the older 30 series chassis.

You mean off this chassis-engine (Cummins B 3.3 NA):

No problem with Cat II and Cat I implement: TSC sells the conversion sleeve for a couple of bucks; being setup for Cat II allows you to use both; cat II lift arms are sturdier and the difference in performance of this and the 3910 vs the Cat I 2000 and 3000 is very noticeable. Also, if you have a Cat I implement and it is borderline or you work it harder than it's intended purpose, and find yourself bending lift pins, you can convert to cat II lift pins and solve that problem. BTDT

On the fuel, probably need to turn the 5 upside down. Other thing is the fuel filler is at waist level on the 30 chassis, mine anyway.

The 30 chassis comes with electric and manual lift selection. Additionally there is a depth lever back at the 3 pt for setting max depth or to be used in connecting implements for height selection. The electric is the flip of a switch....hit the end of a row, flip the switch, mash the appropriate brake, make the turn, flip the switch and be on your way just like the last row you made. No reliability problems with that. If there were, both the control switch and the sensing mechanism are easily accessible.

The gear meshing of 4wd is smooth on engagement but you need to be in reverse when operating the lever to get out. After the mechanism wears somewhat, this probably won't be necessary. It's not a show stopper.

The electric PTO is dual functional on the 30 chassis, both Live (electrical, not mechanical) and Independent. 24 clutch discs spin up to make the engagement preventing any slamming of the gear train when transitioning and the operator has the throttle set up too high. Mine comes with 3 speeds: 540, 1000, and an intermediate.

Nothing wrong with the FEL joystick. Adjustable positioning and multifunctional....curl and lift simultaneously if at 45* position.

The older 30 series has a large hub 8 lug front axle whereas the newer 5835 has a smaller 6 lug hub on the front axle. I wonder what the difference in axle capacity is of these two, if any. Especially since the new 35 series has that very powerful BL350 loader which lifts near as much as the BL450 seen on the 7845

One of the reasons, and there were several since I had been shopping the local colors starting in April, gave up on what I saw, and spotted this sucker in Sept....just so happened i bought it the last day of the month and a $1k discount was ending that day....squeaked by.....

Back to the story, reasons included the amount of steel and cast iron in this sucker. On front ends I liked the mass of the thing and the fact that there are no zerks....it's all inside the cast iron, gear oil lubed...except the steering arm pivots ...obviously, but it's sealed with no zerks.

I had a JD 4010 with a JD 152 loader, 6' bucket like this one. Fronts were implement 11x15 or 16, 8 ply, 2 wd. Even at that, the front end failed me more than once. Tires on the front of this are 12 ply.
