It's says that will be exported to the US. Some pictures shown have ROP's, other pictures shown have none. They will have them on to be sold here...

Which model ? They are already being sold here in the US. Right in Pelham Al.

Clearly this model won't. They say it's a rice patty tractor. That's insane to think any different.

Here's what the article states :

No where does it state this model is a rice patty tractor....

The tractor in the pic is most likely at some show with company executives posing on the tractor for a pic, for marketing , advertising, etc,.

Yanmar are purpose built for Paddy Fields. No ROP!! Come on get real!!! That model will no way until !!!! freezes over come to the US.. That's not saying All of them coming from India won't make it here. Maybe No ROP. even made yet that fit most likely. They learned Enough of the UTDA BS. to make that mistake again. And put a seat Back there without the ROP on top of that. That's comical!!!Your Kubota's are getting to you ............

Not sure if they will ever have a yanmar engine in them. It appears they are a separate tractor manufacturer That contracts with yanmar to build tractors for them in global markets.

It appears (to me anyway) yanmar is going to partner with them so their dealers will be able to offer a less expensive line of tractors that will be gear driven

I haven't seen these in person. the yamar dealer selling these is about 60 miles from me

Yanmar is a Diesel Eng. Manufacturer before getting into Tractors. And still are for Marine use. So building engines would be a reason to merge. And just being Geared Tractors reflect that.

I don't think this is a merger. Rather, its an agreement to sell unrelated brands here that are both brought in by Yanmar-USA to be sold through their channels. Its just marketing, Yanmar has priced themselves out of the weekender-DIY tractor market by offering only expensive pro gear.

So are the tractors badged yanmars? If so it would be no different than like the D50 dodge mini pickup that was made by Mitsubishi. Or the Geo metro for Chevy made by Suzuki. And many other examples in cars.
