How’s

I am considering getting one. Do you find the range lever a little sticky?

How is it with slopes and implements on the back?
No issues on mt225s for range lever. It’s not synchronized so you need to be stopped to change ranges. Highly suggest wheel spacers if traversing slopes and if you are a person who likes the loader bucket above the hood. Not had any issues on tractor it has been handy to use. Again when I am doing more demanding work I have xr3135C it’s one complete size larger than MT225S more like typical farm tractor I have backhoe on it. not like case commercial backhoe but it works well and does the job effectively.

I'm in Florida, the flat part at that. No idea about slopes. The range lever was sticky at first, but it's fine after a little use.

Buyers market on tractors in current economy. Push back on dealer for savings. Starting to see lot of these tractors on lots in Midwest. Possibly have dealer sweeten the deal with free attachments bushhog, box blade or scraper blade. I ran 5 foot woods bush hog behind the MT225S no issues but again I was not mowing 4 foot tall grass either. It’s good starter tractor for first time tractor purchase. it’s bigger than 1025R green machine much more cost effective. Just use common sense when operating any tractor especially with loader bucket. Be aware of your surroundings to be safe. Enjoy your purchase it will last lifetime it maintained correctly.

I've been using an old, worn out Long 350/360 for years. It does not have the power of the Long, but it does everything the the Long did. I still use my 72" finish more (a little slower), box blade and rake. Having a front bucket is really nice. When a gopher turtle digs a hole I can scrape it smooth quickly and easily. I can push brush and debris and I just find having it is very useful, more than I though it would be.

Type of rear tires are you using? Are they filled? It’s a heavy tractor
