Yes, they have a case discount. I don't know how many tractors come in a case though. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif )</font>

Jim,

What time of day did you get up to think of that one?? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sure made me laugh starting the day out. Good one.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed my pretty lame attempt at humor. Sometimes a particular turn-of-phrase hits me as funny. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Actually, I think you meant the TC30 comes in a crate instead of a case. I think that's why there may be a wide variation in prices on that tractor. Some dealer's labor costs for assembly are probably higher than others. In the other thread, that gent's price seems to be closer to what I'd expect to pay for a TC35DA instead of the "bargain" TC30. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That 0% for 60 mos is a good deal, but are the 29s and 33s still blowing hyd cooling lines ? That and the posts about the hyd oil filter cold weather problems have made me shy away from these models. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I am learning about "durable goods" lately. While there are incredible deals on cars, tractors, etc......there are so many used items on the market, it is driving down used car & tractor values. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif It is an inverse relationship...the cheaper the new stuff and the better the deals, the less your used stuff is worth

Just to up date, went back to the NH dealer to look at a '26DA and a '33DA. The 26 looked fine under the hood, but the 33 had all kinds of hyd fluid all over the front of the radiator and the hyd cooler hoses. We're talk'n brand new tractor on the dealer's lot. Unbelieveable.

Are you sure it was hydraulic fluid? I know my TN was covered in a oil of some sort to protect it during shipping over the ocean. Once it was at the dealer they washed it all off.

I showed it to the dealer .He said he problem is the rubber lines get weak where they bend 90 degrees to go into the cooler. The 0% 60 month financing is tempting, but it if CNH can't fix a simple problem problem like this, I can't imagine what would happen if a major problem were to surface later on.

I just got in several new Case IH DX33's and the rubber elbows at the oil cooler have been eliminated. They are making steel lines with 90 degree bends and using straight pieces of hose to connect to the cooler.

I posted a picture of the new lines on my DX33 in the Case-IH forum.
