New NH T2410 and T2420 on CNH web site

NH now has a tiny amount of info on their site, T2410 is shares engine (55) and PTO HP (47) with the TC55. The T2420 is 60 engine HP and 51 PTO HP. Both T24x0 tractors are MFWD only.

What do they mean position control?

Can you post the link. I can't find anything on the CNH site at all.

Mike, Draft control is the ability for the top link to sense a load on the ground engaging equipment and raise the lift arms in order to maintain a constant draft force. I have no idea what it is good for.

I know what the draft control is but wondering what position control is thats only available on the 24 series.

Position control is the standard 3 point control. Move the positoning lever to move the lift up or down. It stops and holds the position when you stop the lever.
Draft control is a feature in addition to position control. Draft control makes automatic adjustments, compensating for the draft of an implement on the top link. Typically used for plowing.

So i guess what they are saying is that the new 2410 and 2420 will have no draft control according to that statement.

Anyone have any pictures of the new 2410,2420? I had a big add in the mail for New Holland and it had a huge picture on it of the new T2420 but i threw it out. I was tring to find one online but no go. I changed my avatar to the new T2420 I believe but thats as big as i could find online. yellow stripe is different and no white like now on decals.

Position controll is good for disking too i wish they made it a option on the tc55.The draft controll another option my tc40 did not have.I wonder if they changed the hood and light's again?

Doesn't the TC55 have both Position and Draft control? I think it does. Position is the basic up and down that basically all tractors have, where as Draft control adds a feature to vary the engaged implement depth to keep the draw on the tractor constant.

My 2120 on which the TC48/55 are based has both position and draft.

I think the position controll on the 2420 let's the lift controll to stop at a set depth or such as the older tractor's had .It was a real good option.Our old Super Major had draft controll and position controll and a lift arm controll and lift arm controll stop.If this is what is on the 2420 it was usefull.Once you set it it didnt matter how far you pushed the lift arm controll it would resume at the set depth every time.
