New Non OEM Kubota BX25 Step Mat

Well after having my bx25 since January 2010 an after several times removing the step mat to clean underneath an to service several items my step mat has tears an was just warn out. So after calling my dealer an getting a price for a new step mat plus the 11 required clips I decided to go my own way an make something else fit.This is what I came up with. A new step mat from Lowes ($7.95) an New removable clips from Advance auto. All I did was traced it out with a silver pen an soapstone onto the back of the new one an carefully cut it out with a utility knife an a pair of tin snips . I think it looks better then the OEM one an I can remove these new clips ($3.89 for 6) with a Philips screwdriver when I want to clean under the mat. I'm taking back the push in clips in the white bags since I used the other ones but they are only 80cents at lowes for 2

That looks MINT!! Sheer coincidence that the width and lenght are almost exact??? I notice that border is still intact. Nice Job!!

I was almost gonna pull the trigger on the new mat for my BX2370, but I like yours a lot better!!

Thanks I only had to cut off 3/8 of an inch from the one side. I was lucky I guess.
