Yes they work just like the spring return, other than once you push it or pull it completely it locks in that position. I put mine in the center and the spring returns on either side. I use the one farthest to rear for any implement with a single cylinder and the one to the front for my hydraulic top link. The detent is center and only used for something I need continuos flow or my scraper box ect that uses two remotes.

If you havn't ordered the rear remotes yet, see if your dealer can get the third postion remote if you decide to order all three. it would save you from having to get the longer bolts from fastenal or someplace else, and also give you the green handle and dust caps to color code the remotes.

Anyway here are the part numbers for the third position remote.

T5538-A04000101 Spring Return to center

T5538-A04000111 Detent

These part #s do not come up, either in any of my dealers systems or any online parts supplier. Any ideas?

The 1st/2nd are:

T5575-A04000102 1P spring return
T5575-A04000112 1P spring return /w detent
T5565-A04000101 2P spring return
T5565-A04000111 2P spring return /w detent

Worst case scenario, I will do another 2P valve as planned. But is the all thread I need to source metric?

Really, those came straight from the paper work that came packed with both of the new remotes my dealer ordered after I bought my tractor, it came with one already on it when I looked at it new on the lot. I will look at the order sheet from the two new valves and see what that part number is.

Yeah, try it in one of the online parts places. :(

I wonder if it's a part/kit that was never made, since they decided not to offer the 3rd position? I looked at the RX and I think it uses the same part # for all 3 positions. But you have the green knobs/dust covers?

Ok I just reread your post about what part numbers didn't work, I was busy with something else the first time I read it. I thought none of the numbers came up, but now see only the two numbers for the third valve didn't. I was curios if they would or not, do the the fact that they say only two are available in the U.S. The third is offered in other countries though, sorry it didn't work. I had to tell my dealer to order two 2nd position valves, because he said three would not work, and he would not take one back if it didn't. I told him I would deal with it if it didn't. The only thing your really gaining by getting the 3rd position is the longer through bolts, and the green handle and green dust caps. The bolts you need are metric, I ordered mine from fastenal part number 11113985 , if they have them in stock now you can try 11113236 they are half the price , they are plain steel, where the others are zinc coated.

Thanks country... that is a huge help and makes sense. I will do the second third remote, and then beg my dealer's Kioti rep to get me the green handle and dust caps :)

Glad to be of help, if you do a third function yourself holler if you need any info such as fitting sizes and such.

I will be adding a third function, but it'll be more of a "when I need it" circumstance. :) I have a couple hydraulic attachments I want to build before I get around to it.

Got my remotes yesterday, and the two 170mm bolts today. Got everything re-assembled. Unfortunately it looks like the 3rd hydraulic spool is broke, it is VERY difficult to engage/disengage. Removed the cable and that's completely free, so it's definitely in the valve. Is the loc-tited nut on the end of it adjustment for this, or should I complain? (It's not usable as is, so I will need a replacement.)

About to button up the cab. Either way, what needs to be done can now be done outside.

Few things I learned:

1. country's part # for the Fastenal bolt is exactly correct - 11113985. You could use metric all-thread in a pinch... a nearby Fastenal had M10-1.25 all thread. But the spools center around the bolt so it's a bit nicer.
2. Each kit comes with an instruction sheet, which is nice. But it leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't even show the 3-point levers, so routing the lines is up to you. There are a few steps missing like removing the 3 point lever stuff. The kits are well sorted and packaged.
3. I found that the seat does not have to come out, nor does the actual ginormous plastic fender cover... it didn't really make anything easier. If you do remove the seat, it's 5X as heavy as it looks.
4. Just a note, the fittings are all ORB so no dope is required, except to get you through the removal of all the plastic crap.
5. There is absolutely ZERO reason to remove the rear tire. It's a joke. The Kioti pricing for a remote is fair, but the installation costs per remote from the dealer were nuts. (One remote's install cost is fine, but to double that for two and triple it for 3 is where it gets ridiculous, since it takes only slightly more time to install more than 1.) I saved $550 by not installing the two remotes and rear wiper myself. The third remote and the oil filter, HST filter, hydraulic filter, fuel filter and air filter required for the 50 hour service came to exactly $550.29... so this worked out pretty well, since I had a "credit" with the dealer.
6. Quick connects are quite close to the 3-point toplink hook.
7. Someone needs to make a combination Cat1/Cat2 quick attach system, since every attachment I have is Cat1 except for the rear blade. It's very doable.

Now back to putting it back together and trying it out :)

(Some of this like the seat weight I know Eric has probably mentioned already.)
