NEW! / old Massey Ferguson M35 diesel.. Could use a little help. Rear rims rusted out and other fun things

I have a tractor similar to yours. About 10 to 12 years a go I did a complete overhaul (engine and chassis). This included replacing the rear rims. You can buy the outer rims and re-use the inner hub. I was able to get all my parts through an outfit called DW Motor Machine in Grandview Washington. I haven't seen in this thread what kind of engine you have. (Maybe I missed it?) What engine is it?

Perkins Diesel 3 cylinder. Apparently this M35 is the "Delux" version. All the bell and whistles.

Gday Gulkana. Earlier in your posts you mentioned your pto clutch clearance on the studs was 91 thou. Don’t have any literature with me but I remember you had to aim for 40 thou clearance but could go out to max 60 thou if the clutch was old and playing up. In regards to the cap sizes to fit jic fittings, what size wrench fits the nuts on the hoses you removed? Dash 4 will be 9/16 wrench, dash 6 will be 11/16, dash 8 7/8, dash 10 1”. Hope this is of some help.

the two manuals I have state 89 to 91 thou on the clutch. I'll go back over the literature on that but I am pretty sure thats what it called for. I have the return hose off and I'll take it in to fleet pride today and get the caps. Hopefully they have them.
I tried to remove the center threepoint yesterday and it will not budge. I don't think there is some special trick to get the pin out? Probably stuck unless I am missing something? Hate to put the torch to it if there is some special way it comes out.

Hullo Gulkana, To remove the top link pin, remove the lynch pin as you have done and the pin should slide straight out. If it does not slide straight out, get a hammer and punch.

By the way Gulkana ,behind the top link pin, further in is a rubber boot, similar to the gearstick boots. If it is perished/split, change it as dust can get into the gearbox. It gets overlooked when people do the gearstick boots.

Update on the M35
I ended up cutting the pin on the 3 point. I couldnt get it to budge. I even put the torch to it and no deal. I had a credit at Tractor Supply so I'll get a new setup.

Found a rim at Cross Creek Tractor. Reasonable cost and the shipping wasn't too bad. The rim is in great shape! Took about a week to get to me. I think they are in Alabama.
I painted the rim and back half of the tractor while I had the wheels off. I'll sand and paint the front later on. And that leads me to my questions. Does anyone have the paint code for the M35 (the red color on the hood and fenders? My book doesn't have it and the local paint store can't find it. I need the code or the name of the color. I know there were as many as 5 different colors on those. Mine is the Perkins Deluxe M35
